All that Jazz!
Charlotte, N.C. April 29th- The Charlotte Children’s Choir, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to providing quality musical education for area youth, will perform a selection of jazz and other rhythmic pieces for their Spring Concert. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, Saturday April 29th, 2006 at 7pm at University City United Methodist Church, 3835 West W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC.
The Charlotte Children’s Choir consists of eight performing groups (choirs), which include a total of 260 youth (ages 8-18) representing nine different counties around the Charlotte area. Throughout the year, these groups perform at various venues around the state and the country.

About The Charlotte Children’s Choir The Charlotte Children’s Choir was founded in 1986. Since 1991, the choir has been under the direction of Artistic Director Sandy R. Holland and has been recognized for excellence around the world. The choir has appeared on CBS This Morning and was featured with Judy Collins in the A & E television special, “Judy Collins Christmas at the Biltmore,” and has performed in Carnegie Hall, NYC. The Charlotte Children’s Choir is supported, in part with a Basic Operating Grant from the Arts and Science Council. ### |
