The Descant Choir (the preparatory
choir)
 Comprised
of children between the ages of eight and ten who have
demonstrated the ability to match pitch. The children improve
their vocal production and performance skills through unison and
two-part singing. By learning note reading and basic score
reading, the children also gain vocal independence.
Rehearsals
are
Monday
evenings 6-7:30pm at Providence United Methodist Church, 2810
Providence Road.
Charlotte Judge
is the Director of the Descant Choir.
